During my days as a motion design intern at Wieden+Kennedy NYC, I often had extra time on my hands.

So, I came up with a challenge.

Every Monday I would put a haphazardly constructed box named Rob* up on the bar at the office with a sign telling coworkers to write down an adjective, noun, and verb on a slip of paper. At the end of the day, I would read through all the entries and choose my favorite. By Monday of the next week, I would have it animated, and post it on our in-house production studio's Instagram.

Below are some of the results.

SNEAKY RUSSIAN DANCING

I took a video of Jason dancing, printed out every other frame, doodled on each frame, scanned the doodled frames back into the computer, positioned it all in After Effects, and then threw some music on it.

Fun fact: there was no music playing when I filmed Jason dancing. Beyonce obviously just runs deep in his blood.
